Day 1 is led by Rebecca Holden. Rebecca is a highly experienced corporate lawyer specialising in all aspects of corporate law including private equity transactions, MBO’s, mergers and acquisitions as well as generalist corporate law advice. This interactive day uses case studies to explore not only the legislative requirements of Governance but the evolution of Corporate Governance, the links between governance and organisational performance and behavioural and generational shifts in organisational thinking and how this impacts governance today and the strategic implications for the future.
Day 2 is led by Kate O’Sullivan BEM. Kate holds a wealth of board experience and is especially adept at venturing constructive challenge and building strong relationships between the executives and non-executives of a board. Kate currently runs her own consultancy business operating as an executive coach, facilitator, and board advisor. She is also Deputy Chair and a Board Director of British Rowing one of the most successful sporting bodies in the UK.
This session, explores the interface between Director and NED duties, takes an in-depth look at ‘good governance’, and how to build an effective board before concluding the programme with an interactive ‘mock boardroom’ event.
As well as being a core module within our Stategic Leadership Development Programmes, for those wishing to upskill in this area, we are able to offer this module as a CPD event, independent of a qualification.
