Why we choose CMI for senior leadership
As an approved centre for both CMI and ILM, we select the awarding organisation whose qualification framework best complements the subject, learning experience and professional outcomes of each programme.
For our Level 7 Leadership & Management Accelerator, we choose CMI.
As the Chartered professional body for management and leadership, CMI provides a Level 7 framework designed for experienced and aspiring senior leaders. It supports the critical examination of strategic direction, organisational performance, culture, change and leadership within complex environments.
This closely complements the applied nature of the ChTC programme. Participants are encouraged to connect contemporary leadership thinking with genuine organisational challenges, strengthening their judgement and developing approaches they can apply directly within their own leadership context.
For learners, a CMI qualification also provides independent recognition from an established professional body, giving employers confidence that their development has been assessed against defined senior-level qualification standards.
The right accreditor for the right qualification
We don’t believe that one awarding organisation is automatically the best choice for every subject. As a centre approved to offer qualifications from both ILM and CMI, we select the framework that best supports the subject, learning experience and professional outcomes our learners are seeking.
